Job Title: US Customer Service Engineer

Reports to title: Tiama Americas Managing Director

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Engineer is dedicated to the technical support of customers, primarily in the USA and Canada but also potentially in Central and South American countries.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Performs machine installation, start-up and commissioning on customer site
- Organizes and conducts technical trials of machines on customer site
- Conducts training on customer site
- Provides troubleshooting and technical assistance on customer site
- Manages contract service on customer site
- Assists Tiama’s international hotline organization (telephone/email/remote troubleshooting)
- Participates in the presentation of Tiama machines at international trade shows

- Strong customer service ethic
- Ability to prioritize and quickly provide answers to customers
- Good communication skills
- Very high analytic ability and expertise
- Responsible, rigorous and dynamic
- Very high availability
- Fluent Spanish is compulsory, Portuguese is a plus,

Required education and experience:
- Education: B.S. in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
- 2 years’ experience in a technical customer service department

Reporting relationships:
This job will report to Tiama Americas Managing Director and to Tiama Customer Support Manager in France.

Travel requirements:
More than 65% of your working time will be dedicated to after sales missions. Missions can last from 1 to 4 weeks alone or with other Tiama engineers. During the first 6 months, you will be travelling and working with our specialists. 2 to 4 weeks of training in France provided every year, according to our planning. 90% of your time should be dedicated to the Americas Customers (USA, Canada, Central & Southern America’s countries), 10% to other countries when necessary.
